Hyperspace
The operating platform behind a coworking space — from public booking to invoices.

Overview
Hyperspace runs Hyperspace Coworking in Bizerte, Tunisia. Visitors browse spaces and book desks and meeting rooms on a bilingual public site, while the team manages members, companies, memberships, check-ins, billing and the sales pipeline from one back office — all backed by a single API.
The problem
A coworking space runs on overlapping, money-bearing state: rooms booked by the hour, members on plans with prepaid credits, walk-in check-ins and invoices in Tunisian dinars. Getting any of it wrong means double-booked rooms, wrong bills or lost leads, so the rules had to live in the system rather than in people’s heads.
The approach
A NestJS API on Supabase Postgres is the single source of truth, split into domain modules with role-based access for staff and a separate API-key surface for the public sites. Invariants live in the database: an exclusion constraint makes overlapping bookings impossible, credits are an append-only ledger, and onboarding turns a lead into a member in one transaction. Typed clients generated from the OpenAPI spec feed the Next.js back office and the public booking site, and everything ships as Docker images through GitHub Actions to Render.
Highlights
- Double bookings ruled out by a Postgres exclusion constraint
- Check-ins with live occupancy and automatic checkout for forgotten sessions
- Billing end to end: charges, discounts, numbered PDF invoices and a credit ledger
- CRM pipeline with source-attributed leads and one-step onboarding to membership
- Bilingual (FR/EN) booking wizard that never exposes the API key to the browser
